FSQ AT LREF 2023

ARTS AND CULTURE IN THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT

Fleet Street Quarter BID was pleased to be a part of the London Real Estate Forum 2023, NLA’s annual forum. As a BID, embedding arts and culture into the urban environment is key priority for us in our work reimagining the Fleet Street Quarter area.

A public realm with such an offering not only nutures wellbeing, but also enhances quality of life for workers and residents, whilst being attractive to visitors – adding meaning to our cities and value to our communities.

Fleet Street Quarter BID Chief Executive, Lady Lucy French took part in a panel discussion on this topic at yesterday’s conference, discussing how culture can humanise the built environment and revitalise public space.

The BID also hosted a walking tour through the Fleet Street Quarter area alongside Central District Alliance as part of LREF’s ‘Tours Day’.

Thank you to Benjamin O’Connor for chairing the panel, and to NLA for organising, we look forward to participating in the forum once again next year.
