FestiveFSQ is back, bringing the Christmas magic with it! This year we are sharing a sparkling lineup of yuletide events to set the perfect holiday mood right here on your doorstep.
Starting from Wednesday 12th November, Fleet Street Quarter will be abuzz with seasonal cheer across this magnificent western side of the City. Join us to experience twinkling light display switch-ons, cosy winter festivals, gift-buying opportunities, heart-warming choral performances, and an array of festive workshops designed to help you soak in the spirit of the season.
Plus, find everybody's most beloved beagle on our Snoopy in the City sculpture trail!
With so much to explore, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this winter in Fleet Street Quarter – we look forward to welcoming you!

NOVEMBER
CHANCERY LANE LIGHT SWITCH-ON
WEDS 12TH NOV, 5:00PM - 6:00PM • CORNER OF CHANCERY LANE & CURSITOR STREET • NO BOOKING NECESSARY
Kick off the seasonal cheer with a dazzling festive lights display illuminating the famous Chancery Lane. The lights will go on around 5:30pm, but please join us before and after for festive song from carollers from the King's College London Music Society and free festive treats courtesy of Lucky Voice Holborn and the Fleet Street Quarter.
WREATH WORKSHOP
TUES 18TH NOVEMBER 6PM-7PM • DASDAS BOX • BOOKING OPENS SOON
Get in the festive spirit by joining in with Jar and Fern's Festive wreath making workshop. They will introduce you to the finest seasonal foliage. You will have a variety of traditional foliage to choose from (e.g. Christmas tree, Pine cones, Dried orange slice) as well as some more leftfield options like Sprayed Flax Seed and red fluffy grass heads!
Hot Chocolate and Mince Pies will be generously provided by Limoncello Catering to help you feel the holiday cheer.
ADRIAN DUNBAR: T.S. ELIOT'S THE WASTE LAND
TUES 18TH NOVEMBER 7PM-8PM •

Directed by Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) with score by Nick Roth, this incredible staging of T.S. Eliot’s poem The Waste Land in the rarely-accessible Middle Temple Hall is a must-see.
Join us for this unique preview in an intimate setting before its wider performances in London, with all profits from ticket sales going to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Middle Temple Scholarship funds. Find out more here.
Directed by Adrian Dunbar, with score by Nick Roth, the Unreal Cities staging of T.S. Eliot’s poem The Waste Land is arranged for four actors, and jazz quintet. The piece was commissioned by the Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival 2015 with the permission of the T. S. Eliot Estate, becoming the only performance of the poem in its 100-year history to include musical accompaniment.
JAZZ EVENING WITH THE LUCA WADE QUARTET

Join us for an evening of free live Jazz in celebration of EFG London Jazz Week! Bring a touch of glamour to your evening with drinks at the Urban Farmer Bar, and smooth jazz from the Luca Wade Quartet. Bar open from 5.30pm, Live music from 7.30pm.
British drummer Luca Wade, a graduate of London’s vibrant jazz scene, has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and the US with acclaimed group Wasia Project, performing at major festivals and sold-out venues, supporting Tom Odell and Laufey. Now stepping forward with his own ensemble, the group of London's finest young players is drawing on influences from modern UK jazz to transatlantic traditions.
THE SNOOPY SCULPTURE TRAIL

This winter, the Fleet Street Quarter will welcome a very special guest: Snoopy! From 19 November 2025 to 16 January 2026, the world-famous character will take over the streets of the Quarter in the form of twelve unique sculptures, each artist-designed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz’s beloved comic strip, Peanuts™.
The Snoopy Sculpture Trail is a partnership between Fleet Street Quarter BID, Wild in Art, and Peanuts Worldwide. Each sculpture will feature Snoopy perched on his famous red doghouse, reimagined through the creative lens of twelve artists, and placed in surprise locations across the Quarter for visitors to discover. Polishing the Pebble: Dr Johnson and the Art of 18th-Century Letter Writing
For Samuel Johnson and his contemporaries, letter writing was an essential component of daily life, providing a tangible proof of connection and so helping to develop and sustain friendships. With entertaining and insightful extracts from letters and other sources, Liz Ison will explore Johnson’s views on letter writing and discuss why he felt it to be an important branch of literature.

Enjoy the festive edition of FSQ's monthly sponsored lecture at Dr Johnson's House! Curator, Celine Luppo McDaid, will share all things Georgian Christmas in the festively decorated house (home of the 18th century English writer and lexicographer, Dr Samuel Johnson) with mince pies and tea provided in the drawing room after the talk.
