LAST CHANCE THIS SUMMER! FREE PHONE MARKING IN FSQ
MAKE YOUR PHONE TRACEABLE, RECEIVE CRIME PREVENTION TIPS AND HELP POLICE RETURN STOLEN DEVICES SAFELY
Outside City Thameslink / Thursday 21st August, 6:00pm-8:00pm

Fleet Street Quarter BID is once more teaming up with the City of London Police to offer the final free phone-marking event of the summer – giving commuters, residents and visitors one last chance to protect their devices from thieves.
The simple process uses a discreet, unique sticker that makes stolen phones traceable, helps police build stronger cases against offenders, and ensures recovered devices can be quickly returned to their owners. Officers will also be on hand to provide crime-prevention tips, including how to set up a medical contact on your phone so next-of-kin details are accessible even when it’s locked.
Mobile phone theft in the City has already dropped by 30% this year thanks to collaborative efforts, but in the last two years more than half of recovered stolen phones could not be returned because owners couldn’t be identified.
The final Fleet Street Quarter event takes place outside City ThamesLink Station on Thursday 21st August, 6-8pm. Don't miss this last opportunity before the summer ends.
If you would like to host a free phone marking event within your business, or if you’d like to highlight an area of concern where you would like to see a phone marking event – please email Safe and Secure Manager Beth Nash on beth.nash@fleetstreetquarter.co.uk
