DISCOVER FSQ 2023
ROUNDING UP THIS YEAR'S PROGRAMME
Last week we were delighted to host the annual programme of events for Discover FSQ, aimed at welcoming new starters and graduates to the area, or employees looking to reacquaint themselves with the Quarter and network with other local workers.
We believe promoting vibrant and progressive cultural offerings is imperative to attracting new audiences to the area. With these fresh, new audiences comes new talent and an enabling for us to build a more cutting-edge offer as a BID.
The 2023 series attracted over 250 participants, starting the week with herbaceous workshops with Jar and Fern and Leafage, followed by riveting tours of the area with The London Spy, aka David Harry.
Paint Jam’s splattering workshop in Bridewell Hall followed, along with ‘lunch on us’ for 100 at the Fleet Street Quarter’s area very own street food market KERB+ Fleet Place. The week came to a close with both our FSQ Run Club and a crawl of the Quarter’s many iconic pubs with Liquid History Tours on the final night.
This series of activities was created in recognition that the future of the City lies, in part, in attracting and retaining a younger demographic of worker, as well as the Square Mile’s ability to attract a wider pool of domestic leisure visitor is more important than ever.
Thank you to everybody who joined, we look forward to seeing you again soon!
