SNOOPY IS COMING TO FLEET STREET: SCULPTURE TRAIL WILL CELEBRATE 75 YEARS OF PEANUTS

TWELVE ARTIST DESIGNED SNOOPY SCULPTURES TO TRANSFORM THE QUARTER OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD

This winter, the Fleet Street Quarter will welcome a very special guest: Snoopy! From 19 November 2025 to 16 January 2026, the world-famous character will take over the streets of the Quarter in the form of twelve unique sculptures, each artist-designed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz’s beloved comic strip, Peanuts™.

The Snoopy Sculpture Trail is a partnership between Fleet Street Quarter BID, Wild in Art, and Peanuts Worldwide. Each sculpture will feature Snoopy perched on his famous red doghouse, reimagined through the creative lens of twelve artists, and placed in surprise locations across the Quarter for visitors to discover.

The trail arrives just in time for Christmas, building on the success of previous festive installations in the district and continuing Fleet Street Quarter’s mission to weave culture, creativity, and storytelling into the heart of London’s historic newspaper district.

A story that comes full circle

The trail draws directly on the legacy of the area as the home of London’s publishing, illustration, and comic strip culture. From the earliest printing presses to the rise of Punch and other satirical magazines, Fleet Street has long been synonymous with storytelling in word and image.

Bringing Snoopy, one of the world’s most beloved comic strip characters, onto these streets creates an imaginative bridge between past and present, honouring the district’s cultural heritage while inviting new kinds of visual narrative in public space.

Snoopy's story began on the pages of newspapers and 75 years later it is an honour to see him celebrated in a neighbourhood that also has deep ties to that industry. Snoopy continues to delight fans around the world, and these new sculptures are sure to bring joy to Londoners and tourists.” said Tara Botwick, Senior Director International Territory Management, EMEA, Peanuts.

For Lady Lucy French, CEO of Fleet Street Quarter BID, the trail also reinforces the area’s evolving identity: “Fleet Street has always been a place where stories come to life, from newspapers, to literature and comic strips! We’re delighted to welcome Snoopy to the area, to help celebrate this landmark anniversary. It’s a privilege to be the first host location for these new sculptures.

The trail is such joyful way to celebrate this much-loved character through the vision of twelve talented artistic interpretations, inviting readers and fans to explore the Quarter’s hidden corners and see our streets in a new light. As we continue to shape Fleet Street Quarter for the future, this celebration of art, creativity and community is another milestone chapter in our evolving story.”

Art at the heart of regeneration

The Snoopy Trail is the latest in a series of cultural initiatives championed by Fleet Street Quarter BID, following recent highlights such as Whispers, Oskar Zięta’s large-scale installation for the London Festival of Architecture, and the district’s inaugural Festival of Words in May 2025.

For Charlie Langhorne, Co-founder of Wild in Art, the trail is also about accessibility and community:“Fleet Street has always been a place where stories come to life, from newspapers, to literature and comic strips! We’re delighted to welcome Snoopy to the area, to help celebrate this landmark anniversary. It’s a privilege to be the first host location for these new sculptures.
