In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, we're excited to annouce that in collaboration with street food pioneers KERB, we will be celebrating the incredible contributions of female entrepreneurs in the street food industry at KERB+ Fleet Place on the Thursday before IWD.

Fleet Street Quarter and KERB have curated an all-women trader line-up, showcasing the diverse and delicious offerings from Some of London's best female street food traders. Taking place at Fleet Place on Thursday 6 March from 11:30am – 2:30pm, locals, workers and visitors alike can head down and enjoy a woman-powered lunch.

To make this celebration even more special, those signed up to the Fleet Street Quarter newsletter are in with the chance of grabbing one of 50 free lunches! This exclusive offer is a way of saying thank you for supporting female entrepreneurs and inspiring visitors to discover the incredible street food traders which KERB are bringing to the Fleet Street Quarter.

The line-up for the market sees incredible traders from the mother, daughter founded Banzai Kitchen serving up Japanese and Jamaican fusion to Utopia, founded by refugee entrepreneur, Hind who’s a master of Syrian street food.

The full line up of traders include:

· Amani Kitchen - Inspired by the vibrant and aromatic dishes of her childhood in Iraq, founder Amani’s passion for cooking was ignited around the dinner table in her grandparents' home. Fresh from a residency at KERB x Christmas at Kew, Amani’s authentic Middle Eastern, home-style dishes are a lunchtime hit!

· Ayal - Bringing the rich flavours of Turkmenistan to London’s food scene, founder Maral started her business after winning investment through KERB’s Coaching for Business programme (Streets Ahead). Maral then joined the incubator programme, and has since accelerated her business, serving up traditional palav and flavour-filled manti dumplings across the city.

· Banzai Kitchen - Keeping it in the family, mother and daughter founders Sumiko and Ocean graduated from KERB’s all-women incubator in 2024. Drawing influence from their Japanese and Jamaican heritage, their showstopper is their crispy Karaage chicken, served with Japanese rice, tangy coleslaw, and fried plantain.

· Mexclub - Erika, founder of Mexclub, is on a mission to fuel London’s streets with authentic Mexican street food. Fresh from a summer pop-up at KERB National Theatre, Erika’s slow-cooked beef birria tacos are something of legend and always served with a smile.

· Mr Porchetta - Founder Valeria opened her street food business serving authentic Italian porchetta after the pandemic. One of the freshest graduates from KERB’s incubator programme, her slow-roasted pork belly sandwiches have gained a loyal following across the city.

· Utopia - Founded by refugee entrepreneur, Hind. Utopia’s journey started on KERB’s Coaching for Business programme (Streets Ahead), before joining and graduating from the incubator programme. A master of Syrian street food, Hind’s spiced sujak wrap is a must-try.

Join us at Fleet Place to celebrate the incredible women making waves in the street food industry. It's not just about trying some of the best street food in London; you'll be upporting and empowering female entrepreneurs who are flipping the script in the industry.
