Fleet Street Quarter has teamed up with the City of London Police to host a Stop the Bleed event. This initiative is designed to raise awareness about the crucial steps that can be taken to manage catastrophic bleeding, an essential skill that could save lives in emergency situations.

This is a drop in event and is open to the public with no sign up required. It aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and confidence to act swiftly in the event of a serious injury. Whether it's a workplace accident, a traffic incident, or any other unforeseen event where severe bleeding might occur.

Attendees of the 'Stop the Bleed' event will have the unique opportunity to meet their local policing team and engage directly with those who are often first on the scene in an emergency. The City of London Police will be on hand to offer demonstrations and hands-on training, showcasing the essential tools and techniques used to control bleeding until professional medical help arrives.

This event underscores the importance of engaging with our businesses community in public safety initiatives. By educating and equipping local workers with practical skills, the Fleet Street Quarter is taking proactive steps to create a safer and more secure district for everyone.

Our Stop the Bleed engagement event will take place on Tuesday 27 August 2024, from 12pm - 2pm outside The Blackfriar Pub, EC4V 4EG.
