FSQ AGM BRINGS BID COMMUNITY TOGETHER
WE WERE JOINED AT CUTLER'S HALL TO SHARE WHAT THE BID HAS ACHEIVED OVER 2023 - 2024
Last week, we were delighted to welcome the Fleet Street Quarter community to Cutler's Hall for our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The event provided an opportunity for our CEO, Lady Lucy French, to present an update on the BID's activities throughout 2023 - 2024. Key highlights from her speech included pulling focus to our public realm initiatives, including the presentation of our VuCity flythrough video that showcases the vast development pipeline within the FSQ area, alongside a run through of activities within each of our four key strategic themes; Putting FSQ Back on the Map, Creating a Connected Community, Clean and Green, and Safe and Secure. This was also summarised in a video presentation highlighting our various projects and accomplishments from the year which you can view at the bottom of this article.
The AGM also served as an important platform for the BID's formal governance requirements. Austin Casey, Managing Partner at Primera, presented the adoption of the BIDs annual accounts, whilst Fleet Street Quarter BID Chair Roy Pinnock led the appointment of Board Directors and offered closing remarks on the year’s achievements.
The evening continued with a networking event that brought together members of the FSQ community. Attendees had the opportunity to make new connections, meet the FSQ BID team, and explore ways they could become more involved with activities and the changing landscape of the area, reinforcing our collective commitment to shaping the future of the district.
The AGM was a valuable occasion for reflection and strengthening ties within the community as we look ahead to another productive year.
