Join our latest Business Breakfast where we will explore the economic and social values of heritage and how they can contribute to the regeneration of a building, place or area.

 

The talk will explore a number of key topics, including:

  • The heritage values of the Fleet Street Quarter area

  • The relevant laws and policies that have to be adhered to and how the best opportunities for heritage led regeneration can be identified

  • Appropriate maintenance and retrofit for sustainable built heritage and how that in turn contribute to value (broad sense)

  • The importance of Heritage Capital


About the speaker


Claire Martin is Senior Heritage Consultant at Mott MacDonald, specialising in built heritage. She has worked on heritage impact assessments for national infrastructure projects including road, rail and reservoirs. She has also worked in the public sector working with Historic England on heritage at risk projects and advising councils and owners on planning permissions and listing building consents affecting the historic environment.


The Business Breakfast Club is a series of monthly talks delivered by Fleet Street Quarter, in partnership with Mott MacDonald.
