GET IN THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT WITH A SELECTION OF LOCAL CAROL SERVICES
To celebrate the first of December and the countdown to Christmas, we've collated a collection of Christmas Carols, Recitals, Services, and more in the Fleet Street Quarter. Whether a sing along Carol Concert, a Trumpet and Organ Duet, or a Christmas Eve Service, there's something for everyone to enjoy this holiday season. Several of these events are in support of great causes, give back this Christmas by attending a magical night of music!
ST DUNSTAN IN THE WEST
4th December 7pm: UCL Chamber Choir Christmas Concert
17th December 1pm: Lunchtime Carols (No Booking Necessary)
7th, 11th, 14th, 15th December: Christmas Carol Service sung by the Temple Church Choir
16th December 6.15-7.15pm: Carols for Pro Bono. The Advocate and LawWorks Christmas Carol Concert returns for its eighth year! Enjoy some joyful carols and celebrity-guest readings in support of these two access to justice charities
17th December 1.15-2pm: Lunchtime Carols sing-along. An informal half-hour of carol singing - requests will be taken!
TEMPLE CHURCH
Temple Church have a huge programme of Christmas music, many of which are part of their 2025 Winter Festival. Find some highlights here, and check out the full programme on their website here.
3rd December 6pm: Advent Carol Service featuring Matilda Lloyd on the trumpet and Richard Gowers on the Organ. Don't miss the renowned duo make their Temple Church Debut in a kaleidoscopic programme of baroque fantasias and contemporary music: tickets here
4th December 7.30pm: Christmas Oratoria with the Bar Choral Society, Temple Players, and Thomas Allery. The Bar Choral Society is based in the Temple with singers drawn from across the legal system. Their performance of Cantatas I–III and VI from J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio is sure to be a highlight of the festive season in the Temple: tickets here

GOUGH SQUARE CHAMBERS
8th December, 6pm: Christmas Carols in the Square. Hosted by Gough Square Chambers, enjoy an evening of carols accompanied by a brass band, mulled wine and mince pies.
