FLEET STREET QUARTER CYCLE POP UP
TUESDAY 2ND JUNE 12-2PM, FLEET PLACE

On Tuesday 2nd June from 12pm to 2pm, we’re bringing a cycling pop-up to Fleet Place as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting active travel, wellbeing and greener journeys across Fleet Street Quarter.
One of the highlights of the day will be our smoothie bike challenge, where you can compete against friends and colleagues to see who can power their smoothie the fastest using pedal power alone.
We’ll also be joined by Love to Ride, the global behaviour change platform helping more people discover the benefits of cycling. Love to Ride works with workplaces and communities to encourage everyday cycling through challenges, rewards and practical support, making it easier and more enjoyable for people to travel actively.
Here’s how to get involved:
Sign up and register for the challenge at lovetoride.net
Log your rides using the Love to Ride app. Download the app for Apple or Android devices - you can even turn on auto logging!
Earn points - ride your bike and encourage others to earn points.
More points = more entries into the draws
Alongside this, Dr Bike sessions from Bikeworks will be available on site, offering free basic bike maintenance and safety checks to help keep bikes roadworthy and safe. Whether your brakes need adjusting, tyres need inflating or your bike just needs a quick once-over, the team will be on hand to help. You can either drop in on the day or book your free slot in advance.
We’ll also be promoting our new partnership with OurBike, the UK’s largest community e-cargo bike share scheme, which is helping bring practical, low-carbon transport to neighbourhoods across London. Visitors will be able to see our brand new Fleet Street Quarter cargo bike up close and learn more about how the scheme works, from app-based bookings to affordable hire rates and free minutes for new users.
Designed to carry up to 100kg, cargo bikes offer a cleaner and more efficient way to move goods, deliveries, equipment and everyday essentials around the city. As businesses across the Square Mile increasingly turn to cargo bikes as a faster, greener and more cost-effective transport option, we’re excited to help promote a scheme that supports cleaner air, reduced congestion and more connected communities across Fleet Street Quarter.
Join us at Fleet Place on Tuesday 2nd June to get involved, meet the teams behind the initiatives and discover how active travel can be fun, accessible and part of everyday city life.
