CALLING FOR THE PREVENTION AND ELIMINATION OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
Tuesday 25 November – Wednesday 10 December • Across Fleet Street Quarter

Building on our inaugural efforts last year, FSQ is proud to stand in solidarity with the global 16 Days of Activism campaign - a powerful movement calling for the prevention and elimination of gender-based violence running from Tuesday 25th November – Wednesday 10th December. Across the Fleet Street Quarter, we are uniting our community through three key initiatives designed to raise awareness, inspire action, and show our shared commitment to change.
ORANGE THE QUARTER
Beginning on 25th November and running through to the 10th December, we will be lighting up key Fleet Street locations in Orange for ‘Orange the Quarter. The UN notes this as the official colour of the movement to symbolise a brighter future free from violence. You can get involved too! Join us as we “Orange the Quarter”, sharing photo’s wearing an item of orange clothing or accessory.
FSQ COMMUNITY PLEDGE TREE
Join us in taking a stand and add your voice to our Community Pledge Tree. Hosted at 160 Fleet St, you can come and make a pledge to represent how you are going to challenge harmful behaviours, support survivors, and promote respect and equality in everyday life. It is through simple, small actions that we can make a huge difference to help prevent violence against women and girls.
The Fleet Street Quarter Pledge Tree will be publicly accessible at 160 Fleet Street, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.
AMPLIFYING EIDA RESOURCES AND MESSAGING
As a Strategic Member of the Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA), Fleet Street Quarter are proud to support the work being achieved across the UK by sharing their vital 16 Days Resource Pack across our social media channels. These tools offer guidance on recognising, responding to, and preventing domestic abuse - empowering both employers and individuals to make a difference. Importantly, this year’s campaign draws focus on the victim survivor voice and makes domestic abuse everyone’s business.
Join FSQ and our wider community as we take action, raise awareness, and stand together for safety, equality, and respect. Sign your company up to EIDA to take a stand against domestic abuse.
