CYCLE SECURITY WITH THE CITY OF LONDON POLICE & FLEET STREET QUARTER

Thursday 29th May, 8am – 10am • Intersection of New Bridge Street and Watergate

We're hosting another Cycling Roadshow with the City of London Police this May. There’s no need to book, just head over to the intersection of New Bridge Street and Watergate anytime between 8am – 10am.

Available is security marking from the City of London Police and an opportunity to speak to officers directly about concerns around cycle safety in the area. You can also get practical tips will help keep your bike safe and out of the hands of thieves – and also advise on how to get it back if it is stolen. Bike security marking is a highly effective, visible deterrent to bike thieves. They know that if they are caught with a registered bike, the owner can be traced and they will be arrested.

Dr Bike will be on hand to offer free bike repairs, safety checks and servicing, as well as advice on upkeep from their expert. There will also be an opportunity to 'trade places' and sit in an HGV to experience the view of lorry drivers from their cab, something equally useful for cyclists and pedestrians alike.
