BAG HOOKS MADE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CITY OF LONDON POLICE

Coming soon to Fleet Street Quarter. New ways to keep your bags safe in local licensed venues!

Fleet Street Quarter BID, in collaboration with the City BIDs and City of London Police, have joined forces to ensure those visiting pubs and bars across the City have an opportunity to better protect their bags and belongings.

Bag theft continues to be a common issue across London, often carried out by groups working together. Typically, one individual distracts the victim—sometimes using their phone or foot to quietly pull a bag from beneath a table—while another makes off with the stolen item. It can happen in seconds, sometimes minutes, and by the time you realise your bag is missing, it may already be too late.

To help prevent this, we’re equipping local venues with fixed bag hooks discreetly installed underneath tables. These hooks allow customers to hang their bags securely, keeping them within sight and off the floor. No more piles of bags in crowded pubs on a Thursday night—just a simple way to stay safer while you enjoy your evening.

Look out for the FSQ-branded bag hooks next time you're out in the area. Just slide your bag onto the hook, sit back, and relax knowing you're taking a simple step to protect your personal belongings.
